The internet changed the Mortgage Industry and how you get in front of Home Buyers, bad habits grew and we forgot about the good old days.
So what was forgotten? It’s simple, our success as a loan originator is determined by meeting the most potential home buyers, building a relationship with them and consistently delivering value. When the internet blew up and LO’s began to rely on it for leads and home buyer acquisition the relationship building and delivering value took a back seat to a quick rinse and repeat method. We stopped getting in front of people face to face, holding home buyer seminars, being present in the community, etc.
So We Are Where We Are So What Do We Do Now?
Go Meet More People, Period. Don’t make it harder than it has to be, get in front of as many people as possible daily. If it is out of your comfort zone, you need to create a new comfort zone. The simplest way to be great at sales is to talk to more people, so no matter how you are at conversion of your contacts to sales, more contacts will create more business.

To start your Coffee Club in your local community, find a day, time and venue that works for you and connect with the Venue and see if you can work a deal with them to reserve a space or get a deal on the coffee. If they know you will have a consistent event with people coming in to their establishment they normally will be happy to work with you to help you make it successful.

Brew It and they Will Come.
