The Mortgage Hustle

Loan Officers are looking everywhere for home buyers, we found them, you might need to get out of your comfort zone though.

Before I use these next 5 words please take a deep breath, have an open mind and don’t shut me out until you hear what I have to say, I promise it will be worth the next 2 minutes of your life.

“Leads, Leads and More leads,” Ok, i said it. Are leads the answer, I won’t quite say that, but if you aren’t applying a lead generation strategy in today’s market, you are missing out on a big opportunity for today’s business, but an even bigger opportunity for next years business and for years after that.

What Leads?

When I say leads, I don’t mean leads from realtors or a financial planner (we will talk more on that at a different time), I mean true online leads that you generate your self, not buy. I know many loan officers don’t believe, like or want Facebook leads, but here is the truth. I will tell you a quick story, I have a small mortgage company, we run $15/day budget for Facebook leads and pay on average $5.61 per mortgage lead (see two of our ads below).

Over the last week week I sent out 13 apps to be completed, approved 4 new home buyers and one of the approvals, made an offer and it was accepted in the same week - I am telling you that, because it flat out works - That is with the right focus and attitude. Want to know the best thing about Facebook Mortgage leads? it is easy to scale, just increase your budget or start another ad.

Where to start? When you see Home Buying ads on Facebook, save them, hit the three dots on the upper right corner of the ad and click “Save Link,” then create a folder for “Mortgage FB Ads” so you can reference them.

There are many resources on Facebook Ads on Google and Youtube to get you started, my biggest piece of advice is keep it simple, let Facebook do it’s thing, use FB Instant Forms to capture data and as you read more of our newsletters and learn more yourself you can build on were you start.
